Being proactive is key!

Dumas team members included Alvin Newburn, ALE; Samantha Wells, Central Elementary; Troy Jackson, Reed Elementary ALE; Andy Werb, Dumas Middle School; Sydney Lattimore, Dumas High School and Yolander Brown, Curriculum.
Team members will bring information back to the district that can be used alongside existing School Crisis Intervention Plans.
The training was hosted at the SE Arkansas Educational Cooperative and consisted of 18 hours of intense training for certification. It was facilitated by Suzanne Jones and Tyler Czarnowsky, of NOVA.
