There will be a DHS Awards Assembly Tuesday at 9:30 AM for 2nd 9 weeks, 1st semester, 3rd 9 weeks, and all athletics.
We will be having a Parent Involvement Engagement (PIE) Plan meeting on Monday, May 15th. The meeting will be held at 5:00 P.M. in The Parent Center, which is located on the Reed Elementary campus. Refreshments will be served to those in attendance. We hope to see you there!

Dumas High School will be conducting a lock down drill. The drill will be Friday May 12, 2023. There will be several law enforcement and first responders on campus. This is an active shooter/lock down drill. Thank you for your patient while we work to better care for your students.

Coach Slater's Personal Fitness class went to the weight room today to assess the health-related skill, strength.
Prom 2023

Parents come out and line the sidewalk for the Prom walk!!!
Coach Glory Slater's students in her Personal Fitness class were very competitive today. There is a standard that says you have to be competent in some health-related skills. One of those skills is strength. They will be going to lift weights and as they do they will tell what muscles are benefitted the most.
Today they had a muscle quiz in the form of a game where they had to identify the muscle groups and the time was recorded. The students were not only trying to beat the qualifying time(30 seconds to make a perfect score, an “A”), but the time of their classmates as well as all of my Personal Fitness classes.
