The Rodney Block Collective, featuring Rodney Block who is a Dumas High School graduate, performed for DHS students. Rodney introduces students to Jazz and highlights the history of famous Arkansas musicians during Black History Month. HIs motivational message was enjoyed by all.

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of a Dumas School District Student. The passing of any youth in our community is a tragedy for all. At this difficult time, we turn our attention to supporting those affected. Additional counselors, community leaders and district support will be available to support any student and staff dealing with the loss.


Dumas High School and Dumas Middle School will adjust bell schedules to make up for the inclement weather day, January 10, 2025. Both campuses start time will be 7:55 a.m., instead of 8:00 a.m. The schedule adjustments will begin Monday, February 10, 2025 and end Friday, March 7, 2025 which is the end of the 3rd Quarter. Reed Elementary start time will remain the same.
