IMPORTANT Information regarding the Harmony Grove Playoff Game. Admission will be through gofan for anyone school age and up. Only AAA passes will be accepted. There will be no outside food or drink through the gate. The visitor gate is on the north end of the field in the corner of the arena (ticket window right past the gate). This is where we would like for visiting fans to validate their tickets and enter. Current AAA rules will be enforced at all times when applicable. State laws and school policies will be in effect concerning alcoholic beverages, controlled substances, and weapons. Spectators may not be allowed on the field after the game. Only students/coaches of school organized activities are to be on the field. Dear Parents, We will begin a holiday canned food drive next week at Reed Elementary to help our local food pantry in Dumas. Canned goods and other non-perishable food items can be brought to school Monday, November 4, until Friday, November 15. This is an excellent opportunity for our students to learn about compassion and helping others, especially during the upcoming holiday season. Thank you!

The Dumas Public School District and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) have committed to ensuring that opportunities for checkpoints of student learning are a part of our practices. Checkpoints of learning will continue to be a part of classroom practices by teachers. In addition to the classroom collection of data, the following required assessments will be administered to students to assess performance expectations of students at each grade level. New state assessments this year include the ATLAS K-3 English Language Arts screener and the ATLAS K-2 Math screener. Based on performance levels, students will receive support and/or extensions based on regulations set forth by the state of Arkansas. Please see the table below for an overview of the assessments by grade level.
