You Are Cordially Invited To Attend Reed Elementary’s Second 9 Weeks Awards Assemblies Wednesday, January 14 Kindergarten – 9:00 a.m. 1st Grade – 10:00 a.m. 2nd Grade – 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 15 3rd Grade – 9:00 a.m. 5th Grade – 10:00 a.m. 4th Grade – 11:00 a.m. Please arrive on time, as each assembly will start promptly at the scheduled time.

Dumas Schools hosted Migrant Family Night on December 9, 2025.

Migrant families enjoyed a night filled with informational topics, community support along with Bingo, dinner and book give away for students! It was a great time for all that came out! Thank you to all that participated and offered support! We are better together!

3rd-grade teachers, Mrs. Beverly Rodgers, Mrs. Aleshal McIntyre, and Mr. Caleb Lampkin spend time with Mrs. Katlin Hogue, SE AR Educational Cooperative, Math Specialist,
as a team learning cross-curriculum concepts with a focus on core instruction, intervention, remediation, and acceleration.

With a focus on strengthening instruction, the Dumas Public School District has partnered with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), to provide instructional support via a High Quality Learning Provider.
Summer professional development was hosted with two full days for each campus followed by a fall session in a district-wide PD held on October 10, 2025.
Wil Redmond, Lead TNTP Senior Manager, Jordunn Saladino and Dorian Myers led sessions for Reed Elementary, Dumas Middle School and Dumas High School.
